Meet Catherine Stine

Welcome to my page! I hope The Things With Wings helps give you courage and strength to take flight in your transformation. Get air and begin to fly!

Words such as #Leader, #Creator, and #DifferenceMaker could be used to describe me. As a self-proclaimed “functioning” introvert, I’ve frequently leaned in to my desire to teach and lead, which started at a young age. By third grade I was already serving in student government! In school, throughout my career, and in my volunteer efforts, I flexed my soft skills of patience and servant leadership.  I became the scout leader, the Sunday school teacher, the team lead, the Agile coach and more.

With each new life adventure, I contemplate how I can make a difference. Currently, I’m the co-founder of ServWare, a company that supports the international lay organization St. Vincent de Paul. Along with my husband, our hearts and days are filled with supporting their mission of helping the poor and marginalized in our communities.

And also...

I’m a crafter, a marathon runner, an ideator (my poor husband), and an entrepreneur. Above all, my greatest titles have been mom, stepmom, babi (a shortened and informal version of Babička, the Czech word for grandmother), and wife. I have re-invented myself many times along the way, both personally and professionally, while always staying true to my inner compass.

Although I loved school and education, and I obtained a bachelor’s degree, my greatest teacher has been life itself. My greatest motivator has been my inner voice, and my safe place has always been in the hands of God.

As I write this, I’m transforming into a blog writer. I’m using my own version of AI – authentic introspection. Thank you for being here. I hope that you will find inspiration to help you in your personal transformation.

“Wholeness is not found in fixing what is broken, but in embracing every piece as sacred. The cracks in your story are where the light learns to enter. Each breath, each small act of courage, is a prayer — not spoken but lived. And in time, you will see that nothing was wasted; every step was part of your becoming.”
